Frédérique Chabaud
Director of the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation
Born in Paris, she studied both in Paris and in Hambourg where she obtained her master degree in History of the Middle Ages, Slavistic and British literature and culture. She has been working both in private companies and publishing houses, in France and Germany. After seven years spent in ARTE in Strasbourg at the Communication department for the promotion of programmes in different countries in Europe, she followed a one-year master in European matters and management in Dijon and Bucarest. She then started to work as General Secretary of the European Forum for the Arts and Heritage in Brussels, an advocacy organisation for culture and education. In 2001, she met Marianne Poncelet and decided to join the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation. She intervenes in French universities and business schools on the themes of culture and Europe, NGOs’ management and fundraising, networking.
