Wonderbabette (alias Elisabeth Réziciner)
Pluridisciplinary artist
French multi disciplinary artist, Wonderbabette masters the visual arts (plastic arts, video, photography) as well as the performing arts (clowning, street and stage theatre). She lives her passions and art with intensity through numerous works and exhibitions, her performances, videos and other publications, but can also transmit them and leads numerous pedagogic initiatives. Wonderbabette recently created, among others, a contemporary art exhibition in situ Etats des lieux 01 in Strasbourg, France (2007) ; the performance Dream Hotel for the national day of street art in Wasselone and in the framework of programme of events for the nuit blanche in Brussels and the OFF of the Châlon street Festival, in Châlon-sur-Saône, France(2006-2007) ; her performances Délinéament on J.J. boulevard and File exquise, for the Night of the Museums 2007, in the Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Strasbourg.Babette Wonder is also the originator of numerous audiovisual creations such as Underwater and Underwater*(2007) and L’arbre du temps, presented at the Regional Fund for Contemporary Art of Alsace (FRAC, June 2008).Since 2000, she leads numerous artistic workshops in Strasbourg and in the Alsace region, for various audiences of any age, with writing and plastic art workshops in further learning institutions for adults with the Association Tôt ou t’art, poetry and composition workshops in high schools as well as video and theatre workshops.
